John Turnbull is a well respected and appreciated artist. Each piece of John’s art is an expression of his Aboriginal spirituality. He paints on many surfaces including terracotta, emu eggs, canvas and paperbark. His people originate in the NSW Inverell area but he now resides in South East Queensland with his family.

John’s work is widely sought after due to its earthy tones and the distinct traditional qualities it conveys. His artwork has been exhibited both locally and internationally.
