Celebrating First Nations Women at Dreamtime Artistry 💐
Today we celebrate the strength, creativity and leadership of First Nations women across Australia.
At Dreamtime Artistry, the heart of our business is family, culture and community. Dreamtime Artistry was founded and is proudly led by Aunty Erica Eurell, a First Nations woman whose passion for art, culture and storytelling continues to inspire the next generation.
Aunty Erica created Dreamtime Artistry to provide a platform for Aboriginal artists, to share culture through art, and to ensure that stories connected to Country continue to be told and respected.
What makes this journey even more special is that it is shared with her daughters Isabella and Sophia, who are growing up surrounded by culture, creativity and strong female leadership. Through Dreamtime Artistry they are learning the importance of cultural knowledge, artistic expression and continuing the legacy of First Nations women who have carried stories for generations.
For First Nations women, days of recognition are not only about celebration they are about honouring the resilience, wisdom and leadership that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have shown for tens of thousands of years. They are the knowledge holders, the storytellers, the caretakers of culture and the leaders of our communities.
We are proud to support and uplift First Nations women through art, cultural enterprise and community connection.
Today we acknowledge the women who came before us, the women leading today, and the young women like Isabella and Sophia who will carry culture forward into the future.
Strong women. Strong culture. Strong future.
